Planet Earth Observatory supports indigenous peoples and their cultures by recognizing that the land we stand on is stolen, and appreciating that said land is continually tended and lived on by Tongva, Tataviam, Serrano, Kizh, and Chumash peoples. We aim to respect and honor elders and descendants who teach us the ways of stewardship for the landscape we call home by listening and remembering, and are motivated by helping the stories of our Nation’s First People be told. We are grateful for the opportunity to live and care for ancestral lands.
